Horse chestnuts

The main component of horse chestnut extract is the saponin mixture aescin, which is responsible for the characteristic content of the seeds. It also contains flavonoids such as quercetin and kaempferol derivatives, coumarins (e.g. aesculin) and tannins, which determine the natural profile of the plant.
