Jojoba

Jojoba oil comes from the cold pressing of the seeds of the jojoba shrub, Immondsia Chinensis. Chemically, it is a liquid wax that is rich in long-chain fatty acids and alcohols. It is particularly stable to oxidation and is used in cosmetic formulations as a nourishing lipid donor. Its light character ensures that it is easily absorbed without leaving a greasy feeling and makes it a popular base in creams, lotions and cleansing products.
