Ingredients
Arbutin is a derivative of bearberry and is known for its skin-lightening properties. It works by inhibiting melanin production in the skin, reducing dark spots and discoloration. The result is a radiant and even complexion. The bearberry also gives our Bright Berry Bleach its name.
Kojic acid is obtained through the fermentation of rice and is valued in skin care for its brightening effects. It reduces pigment spots by blocking the enzyme tyrosinase, which is responsible for melanin formation. Kojic acid ensures visibly brightening and a smoother skin structure.
Lactic acid is used in our Bright Berry Bleach to gently exfoliate the skin and improve the absorption of arbutin and kojic acid. It removes dead skin cells, promotes cell regeneration and ensures soft, supple skin.

Effect & Mechanism of Action
1. Step: Lactic acid and alpha hydroxy acids work by gently sloughing off dead skin cells and promoting cell renewal. This makes the skin smoother and more receptive to other active ingredients.
2. Step:Arbutin and kojic acid inhibit melanin production by blocking the enzyme tyrosinase. This leads to a visible reduction of pigment spots and a more even skin tone.
3. Step: The antioxidant effects of arbutin and kojic acid protect the skin from free radicals. This supports skin health and ensures a lasting brightened complexion.

Our recommendation
Make sure your skin is clean and dry. Apply a thin layer of Bright Berry Bleach to the desired area and allow to absorb completely. Do not touch the skin while the serum dries. Use the product daily for optimal results. After about 4 weeks of regular use, you will notice a visible brightening.
