No. That's exactly what the capsules are for: the gel takes along what would otherwise stay behind, so the douche goes. Some still do a quick one out of habit, but it isn't needed.
You no longer plan the evening, you take them beforehand. Taken regularly, you're ready any time, no planning at all.
For a specific date, 3 × 3 capsules the day before and on the day itself are enough. This targeted option doesn't suit every metabolism, so test how you tolerate it first.
Yes. Just leave 1–2 hours between PrEP and the capsules so the fibres don't slow down how the pill is absorbed.
No. No fasting, no hour in the bathroom. You eat as usual.
In the first few days your stomach may feel a little fuller while it gets used to the fibres. If so, start with fewer capsules and build up slowly.
