Saw palmetto

Saw palmetto extract is obtained from the dark red berries of the saw palmetto, which after drying and processing provide an oil-rich extract. It is characterized by its high content of free fatty acids and phytosterols, supplemented by flavonoids and other accompanying plant substances. This composition makes the extract an established plant ingredient in food supplements, which is characterized above all by its lipid profile.
